I'm using windows 10, backed up using system image with Aomei backupper on to a usb drive, my system just crashed and now when I try to recover the backup, I get the message "Invalid file........" I tried booting with your iso disc but got the same message. So I have an .ADI file which I can't access. Can anyone suggest anything that might help? Many thanks
"Invalid File..." while trying to restore
Command Line Restore partition ?
1. For AOMEI Backupper , thanks for having command line backup options, but I can't find any command line restore for partition image !!
2. AOMEI has "Öne Key Recovery" , so I'm sure there must have a restore command line possible.
3. How can I add password to my local backup partition image under command line
4. I need to add AOMEI Backupper to my own built Win8PE, hwo can I make it. As I know Acronis have a tool named PEBuilder that can add Acronis to your own built Win8PE.iso automatically.
Aomei Linux driver
Hi everyone,
First, i apology for my english, i'm terrible and i know it ...
we have some problem with laptop or desktop computer with Aomei Linux.
The linux driver did not recognize our external HDD on every USB slot.
If we boot WinPE with Dell USB Driver it work, obviously, but it seems like the linux driver is not compatible with Dell PC's, we got older PC and it work perfectly, but not on the newer.
Someone have the same problem as us ?
Thank for the help,
Dimitri.
Mounting problem
Hallo,
Image exploring is not possible, because the mounted volumes can not be accessed (i do not want to install another non-microsoft explorer), also in AOMI is no point to unmount (windows 10 Vers 1607).
Thanks for help

Backupper File Sync fails with "Not enough space left" Error code 201
Hey,
it's me again and again the file sync ;)
System:
- Windows 10 Education N x64
- Aomei Backupper v3.5
- File syncronisation task from (NTFS) folder to USB Device (128GB, exFAT)
Sync task fails with "not enough space left" (error code 201). As Aomei says folder size 344MB. Free space on USB device (target device) ~55GB. Yea what should i say...
Tried options:
- Restarting Backupper => didn't helped
- Restarting computer => didn't helped
- Deleting target folder content => didn't helped
- Deleting target folder & task + Recreating task => Working again as normal as usual... fine!
But: all other sync task to the (same) device are failing also with "no space left". So it seems to be that at some point the Backupper "destroys" some config/task thing that is causing that issue/error. After recreating the task the other "old" onces are still not working. So i have to recreate them too.
Do you have problems with exFAT? Is there a solution for this issue (search didn't helped)?
Greetings PPP
PS: Why there is a limit in the length of the "Don't sync following files" / "Don't sync following folders"? Normally you just have to get the string of the textfield and parse it.
Restoring large files - Warning
Following a problem with Outlook 2010 I found I had lost archive.pst. No big deal, Backupper has been backing it up for the last couple of years. It is in fact a VERY big deal. Backupper won't restore it: says that the file is too big for my filesystem and that I should convert to NTFS. It's been NTFS for years. AOEMI support has looked at the problem without success. It asked if I could send the file, but it's around 50GB. So, 16 years-worth of mail is trapped for the forseeable future.

AOMEI 3.5 Win10AU Backup with scheme - Is this working?
Backup with scheme using increment of 10. So full + 9 (or 10) incremental. Does this look like it's working? Seems like it reset the counter but doesn't purge the old set of 10.

Files Missing After Restore
Hey everyone, thanks in advance for the help. I recently restored my data after a crash and found that some files are missing. Or maybe the files are there but inaccessible? Here are some details...
-I'm using Aomei Backupper Standard on a PC with Windows 10 Home (64-bit).
-I restored the backup to a fresh, reformatted external hard drive.
-The backup was of my entire primary hard drive with the OS, not just some files. There were no partitions.
-I tested the backup with the Check Image function and found no errors.
-Aomei displayed that the backup restore completed successfully.
When I go into the restored files under C:/Users/Peter (my name, the only user on the OS), where most of my files should be, I get the error, "You don't currently have permission to access this folder." When I cursor over the folder, Windows says the folder is empty.
No idea what could have caused this. Any direction on this would be a huge help. Thanks again!
Mixed Full-Incremental backup
HI,
Is there any option to create a single backup with one Full backup (on Sundays) and 6 incremental (or differential) backups on weekdays?
Bootable USB after W10 Anniversary Update
Has anyone found a way of doing this yet. I have failed to produce a bootable USB with either of the utilities on AOMEI Backupper and so I do not have a recovery method if my system crashes
Weekdays as filename
Hi,
I am trying to make 7 daily backup for each weekday, with the option to name the backup as Weekday. For exaple, I want 7 backups with the following names:
Monday.adi
Tuesday.adi
Wednesday.adi
Thursday.adi
Friday.adi
Saturday.adi
Sunday.adi
and want to replace this Mondays backup with 7 days old Monday backup.
I am doing it now with a batch file running by Task scheduler, but want to do from backup software, which informs me by email.
Thanks.
Disk Restore Error 214
I'm attempting to do a disk restore to an identical HDD as the one backed up. Both are 1TB Toshiba DT01ACA100. I keep running into the Error 214 indicating I don't have enough room. Can't make the source any bigger than the entire disk. Do I need to shrink the size of the primary partition in Windows 10 prior doing my disk backup? Does it matter that I have Linux loaded on a couple of partitions? Windows 10 also reports it is running in legacy boot mode if that is a concern. I've also tried to clone this drive pair and I get this same message.
Uninstall Windows ADK
I have installed Windows ADK to create a boot CD with AOMEI Backupper on Windows 10. Can I now uninstall Windows ADK? Or it is still necessary on my PC?
System backup from another drive
I have two? internal ssd's. Originally, on both drives, a 50g partiton was created for the purpose on installing the operating system. Windows 10 was then installed on each drive.
I want to be able to do system backups of disk 2 when I am on disk 1, and system backups of disk 1 when I am on disk 2.
When you select the Backerupper "Backup" tab, and choose "System Backup", the backup source is automatically selected. No choice is given to do a "system" backup from another source.
Question: If I select the "Backup" tab, choose "Partition Backup", and do a backup of all the partitions, from the other ssd, that comprise the operating system, will I essentially be creating a "system" backup, the same as if I selected "System Backup" from the Backerupper interface, that then could be used for restoration purposes on either ssd?
thanks

pen drive used space recovery big big help please
Dear Friends.... Please Big Help me...
As there were 2 viruses in the 8gb Kingston pen drive it didn't show any files (the viruses were cleaned). There was only one shortcut visible but no data at all. However upon checking the file properties of the pen drive, it showed the use space as as 7GB and free space as 150mb. After using the Restore(258kb) tool the free space is shown as 7GB and used space is only 16kb.
I used this software.
https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0ByIph5ae0VAcY08xRlhrX0tPQ3c
Now used space is 16 kb and free space is 7Gb.
Attempting to recover the data using recovery software did not result in showing any data.
Attempting to recover data using the command line did not work and neither did trying to recover using Ubuntu. Changing the folder options did not work either.
My computer is using Windows XP as the OS.
