Hello again. I've decided to stop trying to solve the "Invalid Parameter" error, but now I'm getting a new one. When I try to perform a full system backup, the "Step 1" option is grayed and it states, "The program does not find the system partition". I don't understand why this is happening. I thought maybe it was because it was hidden, so I assigned it a drive letter and still no luck. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

First I wan't to thank you for such a really good backup software.
I like it very much and I was planning to buy the Backupper Pro version, but now I have a serious problem.

I'm trying to restore a system image to the EXACT same SSD (Samsung 850 Pro 128 GB) and got the "Code 214: Not enough reserve space" error message. I've not checked the "Align partition to optimize for SSD" option.

So it is the same SSD and I changed nothing on the partition layout. I'm using Windows 10 and have 4 partitions on the SSD.
For restore I'm using the Backupper version 3.2 WinPE boot image on CD.

I've tried to restore all four partitions one after the other and while it works it won't boot, probably because Backupper change the size and start sector of the partitions and in one partition the boot manager is located.

Maybe it is the old restore problem known from the Backupper version 2.0 ("destination disk too small"), I read about in this forum.

How do I restore? Can you please help me with this problem?

I am completely new to Aomei Backupper (and imaging). However, I have done backups for years with NovaStor. I
chose AB, after lots of research, for purposes of OS imaging and backup to both USB's and external HDD's. I plan on  using it on both laptop and desktop computers.  I hope I made the right decision. I 
am wanting to get very serious about imaging, backing up, and system
restoring. Here is my question:

1.)    I have a brand new Dell 3550 i5 laptop.

2.)    I have installed MiniTool Partition Wizard.

3.)    I notice that there are two partitions "before" the main 'C Drive'. (See attachment).  This is the way the laptop arrived. I did not partition these two partitions into the structure of the hard drive.

4.)   
What concerns and/or cautions should I have about creating an image that has the OS partition 'and' these two pre-
partitions for restoring the operating system and a few
software programs back onto the laptop?

5.)    OR - are those two pre-partitions necessary to include in the image?

6.)    Can AB handle this type of an environment?

7.)   
Note that I have my data on a separate partition. I do not want to
include that partition on the OS image for restore purposes; I only want to currently pay attention to just the OS and the two partitions before it.

I know this is a pretty simple idea, but following the video on this website I still can't seem to get more space on the partition I select.  I have a photo and I am trying to allocate more space onto my C:OS partition.  Can someone walk me through what I'm doing wrong?  I'm basically following the the video from this link... http://www.disk-partition.com/res/resize-partition-windows-server-free.html 

No matter what I do I feel like the free space goes to the far right (of the DATA partition) and I'm unable to apply that storage to C:OS.  Can someone please help a beginner?

I have written twice to AOMEI support but have got no answer for 3 days.Which is bad, when peole experience a big problem.

I have a W2012 R2 server running AOMEI for server. Last week I installed a new server antivirus (ESET) and since I have not been able to receive backups notifications via email. The send test email returns error but it does work when the antivirus is disabled. Has anyone managed to make this work?.
