Despite a scheme with 7 diffs followed by full the program tries a full after 2 diffs

On 19.08.18 I sent to the support following Error-Message:

But I don’t understand why the program tried a full backup, because I scheduled a scheme with full-backup followed by 7 diff backups and the log indicates

A full backup at 28.07.2018

A diff backup at 03.08.2018

A diff backup at 13.08.2018

 So I expect a diff backup now.

do you have any suggestions now, examined from the logs?

On 20.08.18 the support requested log files, which I sent immediately

But, unfortunately, I got no answer from the support!

Maybe some users are able to give me hints how backups schemes must be set to work?!

Language files

Hi,
the language files delivered in the new version has a lot of errors!
Only English, Spanish and Taiwan-Chinese seem to be OK, all other have a lot of double lines (same line-number) either with the same translation or a little different one.
The language-files on the download-site are still only up to version 4.0.6.

Real-time sync does not work with NAS

Hi, 
The real-time sync to a NAS does not work automatically under Win10. Using a Seagate Personal Cloud NAS. Normal sync works but only by pressing the sync button. But after adding files to the source folder (HD on Win10 PC) nothing happens in the target folder on the NAS.

Questions about the clone disk function of aomei beckupper standard

I would like to ask questions about the copy function of aomei backupper.
I have a problem that has been affecting me for some time. I would like to clone the local disk c with all its files on another ssd device to replace it. my question is if I clone my operating system and files from a hdd to a ssd I will have problems with the windows license? aomei backupper disables windows from the old disk to migrate the license? or is this an advanced feature of the pro version and then I will I have to do it manually? In any case, I risk compromising my license in any way?

Backupper 4.5.1 won't install

I downloaded the current version of Backupper, but when I try to install it it says I must accept the EULA (or something like that). But there is no option to view/accept the EULA. Do I have the wrong installation file? (I'm trying to install the free version.)

me compre hace poco un ssd y quiero migrar TAN SOLO el SO del hdd al ssd, queria saber como tengo que hacerlo (se tendria que hacer mediante un adaptador de disco externo?) despues de migrdo el SO solo tengo que iniciar la notbook desde el SSD y el HDD solo tendria los programas y archivos?, despues tenia pensado colocar el HDD mediante un caddy adaptador para usarlo como mi almacenamiento normal, esto se podria?





pd: una vez que migro el SO del HDD al SSD, el HDD queda sin SO si no me equivoco solo queda con la informacion y programas no?

Migrate OS from HDD to SSD problem

Hello all im new to the ssd world and im having some trouble migrating my os over. I use the wizard that allows me to do this and it works wonderfully all the way up until the end of the process in preOS when i get the error code 5. I have no idea how to lock or unlock partitions and i dont know which ones need to be locked or unlocked or how or why im getting this problem. My OS is buried in a 2TB HDD from a pre built computer from 2011 with around 450gb of space taken up. Im not sure if the hard drive is just too old to be messed with. I DO NOT have another disk to backup to so im pretty much running on thin ice. The code i get is 5 but the error description and solution dont actaully tell me what to do. It just tells me whats wrong. Also the ssd seems to be fine. I can store other apps and download programs to the SSD but i doesnt seem to want the OS on it. Which is the only reason i bought it. Its a 500 Gb Samsung 860 Evo if that helps at all. Please help i would appreciate it!!! Thanks - matt

Aomei Backupper Server, Errorcode 33, bad sector

Hello,
My backups with the Aomei Backupper server always abort with the error code 33. (Error reading a disk sector, bad sector)
However, chkdsk on all disks involved in the backup shows that no bad sectors were found. Also the search for defective sectors with Aomei Partition Assistant finds no error.

What can be the cause?

Restoring a windows 10 image to a ssd drive didn’t work correctly

Hello to everybody,
this is my problem: I created a system image of windows 10 running on the internal hard disk of my laptop. 
Then I removed the dvd recorder drive and replaced with a ssd sata 3 hard drive through a specifc drive caddy. 
After that I did a “universal restore” of the previous image to this drive flagging the setting to optimize the restore for ssd. 
I did the restore 3 times and the problem were every time the same:
-sometime windows 10 didn’t run, remained stucked in the boot logo
- I wasn’t  able to restart it or shut it down, in the first case it got stuck in the restarting screen, in the second case the screen dimmed to balck but remained on
-I was’t able to install any software or driver

nothing of this problem occurred when I installed a fresh version of windows 10

what went wrong?

File Backup does not accept folder exclude criteria

I fave a file backup which backups my drive D:

I want to exclude the directory tree including and below D:\Testsets\Test1

  Defining the exclude mask D:\Testsets\Test1 does not eclude the files in this directory nor all subdirectories

  Defining the exclude mask D:\Testsets\Test1* does not eclude the files in this directory nor all subdirectories

  Defining the exclude mask D:\Testsets\Test1\* does not eclude the files in this directory nor all subdirectories


This seems to be a bug? Or how is the correct exclude mask for that simple case.

Migrate OS to SSD - partitions missing

I plugged the SSD into the laptop via USB.  Followed the Mirgate procedure and got error code 5. So I rebooted to windows to "unlock" the partition as suggested.  Sure enough it shows up in windows, but 3 partitions are missing.

Just to see what would happen I switched out the HDD with the SSD and the laptop boots and runs despite these partitions being missing, but something is clearly not right because I got the error code 5... and 3 partitions are missing.

What causes error code 5?

Why didn't all the partitions get copied?

Perhaps most importantly, how do I do this migration so that all partitions are on the SSD as they should be?

Note that in this screenshot the SSD is now disk1 as I'm running windows on it now... and the original laptop HDD is now disk 2.

How do I go about getting it re-sent to me?

I was sure I copied it to my "software license" folder. Guess I didn't.

Hi,I have creating the Live USB in oder to repair some Registry Keys from my Windows 10 Pro, When I was on the Live USB boot, y made the changes to the registry, but when restarted the Lap on Windows 10, cheking out the changes that I made with the Live USB, did not save and everithings. Theres something that I Could Do, to save the changes in the registry?

If I've been doing incremental backups for a while and have a number of them, and then have to do a system restore, do I start with the oldest (the Full one) and then do each increment?  Or, can I just select the latest one and all the older ones will be included?  Thanks

I purchased the Pro version of Backupper and trying to install it on my new PC, I uninstalled my previous copy on the old PC, but now get this Invalid License Key with Aomei Backupper Pro.

How do I resolve this problem?

All of a sudden I am getting the blue screen of death on my Windows 10 Pro X64 system.
The culprit is amwrtdrv.sys.
Does anyone have any info on this?

I did a system image of my old computer to an external harddrive. I am trying to restore individual files (Docs, pictures etc.) on my new computer. I don't see an option to do that.
