Backupper doesn't see local disk when booted to WinPE

I have several identical HP PCs.  I created an image from one of them to apply to the rest.  When I boot into my Backupper USB Win PE environment, everything looks good until I get to the step where I select the disk I want to apply the image to.  There are no other disks showing besides my USB drive (Disk 0) The HDD of the PC doesn't appear in the list.
I have tried reloading the disks and also running a list disk in diskpart and it doesn't show there either.
On Dell PCs the local disk shows as disk 0 when I image them so my USB showing as 0 is strange.

I have also tried switching everything to legacy mode in the bios and in my bootable USB but no luck.

Can someone help me get this to recognize my HDD that I'm trying to apply the image to?

Invalid License code

I purchased a copy of Backupper Tech and can't get it to register on a Windows 10 Pro computer.  Everytime I try I get an invalid license code error.  I can get it to register on a Windows 7 computer though.  I have even tried installing it on a brand new computer out of the box with nothing on it but Windows 10.

I've been going back and forth with their support for days at this point with no resolution.  They keep asking the same questions over and over, which I keep answering, and they don't seem to have a clue as to what to do.  

Has anybody else experienced this?  If so, were you able to get it working?

Backuper assigns drive letters to efi(uefi), empty disk area and  recovery partitions; causes 0xC000000E error when trying to boot from the cloned disk.
Legacy bios and mbr system disks do not have this issue.
If not going to a same size or smaller disk, this is an issue when going to a larger size media as the increased size causes the above issue.

Backupper Create Bootable Disc stops at 70% repeadly. Win PE selected. I saw lots of online discussion on the subject. Do you have a fix yet?

Da ich bisher leider keine Reaktion erhalten habe, die mir hilft, hier das Ganze noch einmal.

1. Frage

Kann man aus einer Systemsicherung (siehe Anhang ) auch nur eine einzelne Stelle (z.B. einen Text aus Word) herausfiltern und diesen dann nach Word zurücksichern ?

Wenn ja bitte als >>Schritt für >>Schritt darstellen, weil ich noch Laie auf dem PC-Gebiet bin !  

 2. Frage:

Ich habe Hoffnung man kann es, aber wie ist das Problem ?

Was muss ich wo tun/eingeben, um direkt nur alles zu sichern, was unter (D) gespeichert ist ?

Cannot change taget disk

Hi,

First time user.

I have two external hd's connected to my laptop since I want to make different backups to differet target disks. I made a file backup to my E-disk. and wanted to make a disk clone to the F-disk. Unfortunately there is no way to change the target disk since it is not shown as target disk.That said there seems to be just one solution: close the aomei-software, unplug the E-disk, connect the F-disk and start-up the software. I'm not sure but don't think this is the way.

Any suggestions?

Image Restore

I am undergoing some testing of Image Deploy, during the testing the image I had previously created was deployed to a PC. When this completed the PC started fine but the disk partitions letters were incorrect. 

PC image was taken from;

X - System partition
C - Windows
D - Application
 
PC after image being restored;

D - System partition
C - Windows
F - Application

Any thoughts on how this can be resolved to try to retain the drive letters during a restore?

AOMEI Backup Server deleted all files

I opened AOMEI Backup to check it out, but I didn't do anything.  After I
closed it all my files were gone and my desktop was empty.  I tried restoring'
my files but I received an errore message that said the image file cannot be
accessed or is damaged.  How do I restore my files and why did they disappear?

Hey I wanted to convert my GPT HDD to an MBR HDD (just to test it).

And I received this error "The file (2Gpt_BCD or 2Mbr_BCD) may be lost, we suggest you to reinstall AOMEI software and try again.

This error comes from a live CD mounted on my USB-Stick.

Target Disk Not Recognized

I have an image I would like to restore to dissimilar hardware.

I created bootable restore USB, but the target disk is not recognized, I'm certain I just need to add the RAID controller driver, but I'm not sure which I need.

The server that I need the driver for is below any help would be greatly appreciated.

Crash making iso image

Using 4.1 under Windows 7 64-bit I get a crash in msvcr80.dll when I try to make a Windows PE iso boot image.  It only crashes if I pick the option to download the WinPE environment.  It doesn't matter if I do it from the backupper menu or run makedisk.exe directly.  Video card is an nvidia geforce gtx 550 Ti.  Nvidia driver version is 391.35.

Window 8.1 and Windows 10 (with different nvidia video cards) work as does Windows 7 with Intel on-board graphics.

Partition recovery wizard won't let me select partition to recover

I am using the Professional edition. I am using the software from a bootable usb since the partition that i am trying to recover from a laptop does not have any OS now. After a full scan using the Wizard, i could see 13 partitions, out of which 2 are Ext4 file system and rest are NFTS. After looked at the files under the explore options, i decided to do a recovery of that specific partition (1(OS)) but the check box for that is not checkable, i see a message 'The selected partition overlaps with existing partitions, please re-select'. How do i proceed? In looking at previous tech support responses, they suggest using other tools to fix it for this type of issue. Anyone could post their recommendations and steps to proceed furthere? Thanks.

USB drive not detected

   I'm working with the Free AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard 7.0...

-> on Windows 7 SP1 full updated

I wanted to worked with the WIndows To Go Creator Tool...

All my USB thumb drives and my USB external drives  are detected by my computer and fully active and accessible...
 -> formatted (NTFS or FAT32)...

Why are they not detected in the Free AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard 7.0...?

Could it be because Free AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard 7.0 won't detect more than 3 drives on a computer?

On my computer I already have...
1 HDD drive (C:)
1 SSD drive (D:)
1 VHD virtual drive (Y:)
   .... these are fully detected by the software with each of there partitions...

In the Windows To Go Creator, in the "Select a USB drive" line, I can see "Please plug a USB drive in your computer first."
I click on the "Refresh" button, still no USB detected...


Please help me!

Incremental backup just made an full backup - why?

I'm testing AOMEI's Incremental backup-system, and it works fine for me. 
I started the full-backup and made a small incremental backup after the full one (the next day). But today, i can see that there is a file with the size of the full backup (25 GB). The file is numbered in following order from the previous one. 
What's happening?
Isn't the purpose of incremental backups, that it shouldnt take up a lot of space?

Cannot Boot After Dynamic Changed to Basic

I used the partition assistant professional edition to change my C drive from Dynamic to Basic. My C drive is where windows is installed. After changing it I was told to restart my computer which I did but it resulted in my computer getting “Boot Failure on device, Press any key to reboot the machine”.

New version of Backupper refuses to install

I had a previous version of Backupper on my Windows 7 machine. I uninstalled it before trying to install the new version. As part of the uninstallation I restarted the computer as instructed. Next I tried to install the new version, but after the first screen or two of the setup it displays a message saying "Setup has detected a restart required to perform the uninstall. Please restart and try again." I restarted again...and again....and again. Every time I try to install the new version it gives me that same message and won't let me continue the installation. I have also tried re-installing the old (2012) version to see if that would work, but it gives me the same message.

What can I do?

created system backup. tried to restore it. aomei asks to restart to put system in drive c:. but computer cannot start. get message:

Unable to use any existing backup job after doing a system restore

The last two times after I needed to restore my system from a backup, I was unable to continue using any of my stored backup jobs. I got messages that the partitions do not exist or were changed. I was forced to create a new full system backup. Could someone please explain why this is happening. It never did in the past. I am running the latest version of Windows 10 64 bit and my Laptop is UEFI.

Does this mean that once I do a system restore, all my current backup jobs are obsolete? Does this mean that I can no longer do another restore from any of these backups?
