Restore disk error 214: "disk not enough reserve space" on exactly the same disk
Hi,
I tried to use AOMEI Backupper Standard to create a Disk backup of an SDcard to an image file (*.adi). The SDcard comes from a Raspberry PI running Raspbian. The disk backup completed succesfully and backed up both partitions on the SDcard.
When I however want to restore the backup to another SDcard I get the error above. The source and target SDcard are exactly the same (same brand, size and model) and I use the option to restore a disk (all partitions). Before I started I formatted the target disk.
Selecting the option 'fit all partitions to entire disk' does not resolve the problem.
Why do I get this error?
Can someone help?
Thanks!

USB Recovery Disk
Hi. I see two ways to create a USB recovery disk using AOMEI products.
1. Using the "Create Bootable Media" from the Utilities menu in Backupper.
2. Using the PE builder utility from AOMEI (from the download page).
For my computers at home (1 sony, 1 acer, 1 lenovo) I can create a USB disk with Backupper utility and in all cases it recognizes the drivers on the computer that should be added to the PE image and seems to add them correctly. UNFORTUNATELY none of the USB sticks I create this way will boot on the respective comptuer. Now I understand that the utility has only been tested on a handful of computers so that is understandable.
If I create a USB disk image using the full PE builder utility (seperate download), the image created in all cases does boot on the computers and has all the additional utilities which is great. HOWEVER in this case the PE builder utility does not recognize and ask to add missing drivers (as the Backupper utility PE builder does).
Is there a way to get the PE builder standalone utility to look for missing drivers? I checked the documentation and it is possible to add them but its a pain to identify all the used drivers on the computer and go to the manufacture website, download, etc to add them.
Thanks

Cannot explore image
Synopsis: a system backup cannot be accessed from explorer
Setup:
0) Windows 10 installed on a BootCamp partition successfully created by OS X (High Sierra)
1) created a system backup using Backupper Professional
2) verified backup successful
3) Backupper Pro:Utilities:Explore Image
a) select the system backup to explore
b) select the backup point (in this case there was only one)
c) map disk/partition to new drive letter (D:, F:, whatever; in this case, D:)
d) Image preview is initialized, checked and attached to drive D: successfully
4) open explorer and select drive D:
a) a modal dialog displays the following information:
(1) location is not available (in the title bar)
(2) D:\ is not accessible
(3) Incorrect function
5) Return to Backupper Pro: Utilities:Explore Image and detach image successfully
What to do? Windows 10 appears to be well behaved. I have no issues booting back and forth from OS X to Windows. OS X Disk Utility pronounces all the partitions as healthy. And, for that matter, so does Backupper. I am at a complete loss as to how to access this backup. By the way, I created a new backup of a new Bootcamp partition and encountering the same problem. I really need to get this data back so any help would be appreciated.

Shrink Partition: already 35 hours blank screen
I have used the free version of partition assistant to shrink the Windows 10 c:\ partition from 837 to 750 gigabytes. (Windows 10 volume manager only could shrink it with a few megabytes.)
I also checked optimize for a SSD.
The computer had to reboot to continue and thereafter the computer showed only a blank screen for a few hours.
I thought that it just couldn't boot and hadn't started with the resizing, so I rebooted the machine. Booting in my Linux partition, I saw that the filesystem on the c: partition was corrupt, so something had been done. I rebooted again in the Windows 10 partition in the hope it somehow could continue.
Now in total it has shown this blank screen for one and a half day and I want to know if it makes still sense to wait any longer or should I assume that everything is lost.
Help with unintentional partition creation and restoration of full memory
Hello guys I need some explanations about the recovery of my SSD (Disco0 ---> C:)
I use AOMEI to clone my windows 10 in the new SDD but in the process a unnecessary partition was created (E:); then the program has not allocated half of the disc who not result now in my computer (121,1 Gb)
My question is: how recover that 121.1 Gb not allocated and preserve my Windows in (C:)?
Thanks
The order of the partitions in Backupper
When I use the System backup option, the order of the partitions is not the same as the a C drive. Is this an issue? Will the Restore of this backup but them on the drive in the original order or not?

Delete recovery partition in windows 10 Creator Update 1709
Hi
I have an issue. I have windows 10 pro creator
update I bought it. 1709 and I have a recovery partition that windows
created when I installed windows. I have another third party software
that I use called roll back rx if I run into problems So I don't need
this recovery partition. So I called the other third party partitioning
software company and they did a remote connect to my pc because I could
not delete the recovery partition in windows with disk part it said
Acsess is denied. So it was looking for some sort of permission and I
did not know how to do that. I only know for windows files or folders.
Not for Partitions so What the other tech did was he put some files on a
usb stick that I had plugged into my windows 10 Creators 1709 version
and he put a third party software of theres on it and I was able to boot
using the usb to the software and get into the shell or command
promptand I ran the disk part againand it worked I was able to delete
that recovery partition and turn it into unallocated disk space. now
that I'm back in windows I cannot merge the unallocated disk space back
to the c drive and extend the c partition to that I can use it the
options are not there or there greyed out in windows disk managment and
all the partitioning software that I have tried. And I do not know how
to do it with disk part in windows 10. So I was wondering if you guys
could maybe tell me how. Oh the file system says it's Unallocated. It
says the partition can only merge ntfs and fat 32 Partitions The file
system is unknown.
Windows crash in ammntdrv.sys after mounting image
I've been trying out AOMEI Backerupper Pro 4.02 as a replacement for Acronis True Image, and everything looked fine for the first two weeks. But now when I try to Explore my largest data partition backup which has 2 incremental backups, Windows crashes in ammntdrv.sys immediately after Backerupper successfully mounts the image. Explore worked fine when there was one incremental backup. Everything is still fine when I Explore the other backups on the drive that are smaller and have only one increment. The problem backup is reported as 100% ok when I have Backerupper check it. I even tried exploring the backup file on another system with Backerupper installed, but it gets the same crash in ammntdrv.sys (one system is Win7, the other is Win10). Any ideas?
Exploring AOMEI Backup causes blue Screen "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA What failed: ammntdrv.sys"
I have made a "Disk Backup" with the software AOMEI Backupper Standard
(ver 4.06). When I use AOMEI's "Explore Image" feature opening one of
the folders (in the backup) causes a blue screen. This is the blue screen
error: Stop code:PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA What failed:
ammntdrv.sys . Opening the original folder in Windows causes no errors.
I have deleted the backup and created it again, the same error exists.
Each time I checked the integrity of the backup and it tests
successfully. Other disk backups do not present this issue. I have also reinstalled and updated AOMEI. And I have used the "Check Image" feature with no result.
Thanks for the help!
