I have a big bad issue in my office. I bought the AOMEI Backupper Server and i try to clone my complete Server. It has 5 drives in one LSI Raid 5 System. When i try to clone the whole system, i cant see the drives. I only can see my Backup Drive, thats an RDX tape. I cant see only one of my System drives. The same, if i try the System Clone. I can only see my Raid Drives, when i make a Parition Clone, buts thats senseless for me and not what i need.

What can i do now? I am in big trouble if i cant clone the System!

I know I can create a WinPE bootable image using Partition Assistant, but I already have my own WinPE image with all my tools.

I would ADD partition assistant to this exiting WinPE.

Is it possibile?

Could you please explain how to do it?

AOMEI OneKey Recovery 1.6 don't works with Windows 10 installed after Aniversary Update (08.2016). Worse...there is problem with instalation. There is no possibility to use it - application is unusefull  :(
When will be new version of AOMEI OneKey Recovery whitch is compatibily with actual Windows 10?

I was using partition assistant v 6.5 to partititon a 1 tera byte drive on my new Acer computer.  Here is what happened

1. partition hard drive option was grayed out and could be used.  So, I

2. tried to change the drive size to create unallocated space.  This requires a reboot which

3. resulted in an error saying my version of windows 10 was greater than 1703.

I am running windows 10 v 1703.  What did I do wrong?

I'm running Backupper Pro on a 64 bit Windows 10 (clean install) and the following errors related to my scheduled backups appear twice for each backup task in Computer Management>Event Viewer>Windows Logs>Application

The two errors logged for each scheduled backup task occur about 7 to 10 seconds apart.  One backup is a disk backup and the other is a system backup.  Both use the default (recommended) Vss configuration.

Can someone exand on what these errors are telling me, their severity, and what to do to correct the problem?

Hello,

I have windows 2012 R2 server that is used to store backup: \\Athena\Backup\Kodi

I had a windows 7 pc whose AOMEI's backups are stored on the above shared drive.

This has been working fine for the last 5 years.

Yersterday I finally decided to take that free windows 10 upgrade. The upgrade went fine, no error reported.

But now, AOMEI refuses to backup my pc. When I edit the backup, all seems fine but when I press the "OK" button, I get this error:

"The specified path does not exist or is not writable. Please select other writable path."

But  this path exists and is writable!

From my windows 10 pc, I can type \\Saturn\Backup\Kodi in windows explorer and it works, I see the older backup, I can create files, delete them.

the user/password have not changed during the Windows7->Windows 10 upgrade

on the server, no change neither.

Since the last succesful backup happens before the windows 10 upgrade, I assume this issue has to do with windows 10.

I deleted windows 10, put back yesterday's Win7 backup (using the AOMEI boot disk)

when I edit the back and click OK, AOMEI didn't complain about the network path, and I the next scheduled backup worked fine.

I upgraded again to windows 10, and it's all the same problem again: AOMEI refuses my network path.

FInally, I decided to delete my existing backup schedule and create a new one, same network share and this time is worked.

This is uterly stupid and frustrating. I wasted 16 hours because of that stupid problem. AOMEI should make that very clear: a tutorial, a warning when I open the software. Something!

Hello.  When my disk or system backup is encrypted, where is the private key located?  Is this a separate key file external to the backup or is the key internal to the .adi file.  My concern is if my laptop crashes and i get my backup file from an external site, how will the file know my password is correct without having to look for an actual private key file?

Anyone know why onekey doesnt work if i try it on a saved image on my wds.  If i do a fresh windows install off my server onekey works.  If i do a fresh install (same boot and install.wim) then use dism to create a install.win and add that to my wds  onekey no longer its missing aik. now if i install adk kits it will run but give a unknown error while trying to create the image after rebooting to pe

I used Aomei PXE Tool on a PC (Windows 10), but I don't think it shut down properly.  I tried running PXE tool on another PC, but it moaned that PXE was running on another PC.  On the original PC, even after a rebooot, PXE tool isn't running, but using IPCONFIG, a number of IPs are in use.

However, using network tool in Windows, these IPs are not listed.

I can't see any Aomei service running, or process.  How can this machine be 'cleaned' ?  (IP addresses removed)

This is just an FYI for users and for any AOMEI moderator who might be monitoring the forum:

I tested the "create a bootable disk" function of the new update 4.0.5 Pro release. I selected to burn a CD using the "legacy" boot option for a Win 10, 64 bit PC. I did not use the download the WinPE environment option as I had previously downloaded and installed the ADK package for version 1703 from Microsoft.

The disk burned quickly but stopped at 99%. At this point, I had a popup come up showing the contents of the CD so I assumed the burning process was complete. I waited a few more minutes, but it never passed 99%. I cancelled the program. I then rebooted with the CD as the first boot option. It took a minute or two, but it did load up in a Win 10 environment with AOMEI Backupper Pro running. I tried the utility option to check the integrity of an image. I plugged in my removable USB drive and browsed the PC to the location on that drive with my AOMEI backups. I did an integrity check on the last image I created and it checked it successfully. I removed the CD and closed the program. It rebooted back into my normal Win 10 desktop with no problems.

So basically, the FYI is that the disk burning process still hangs at 99% but the disk was created successfully. I hope this helps anyone trying this process and I hope the forum moderator passes this information on to AOMEI.

Good evening,

 

iam a happy customer of your product Aomei backuper free edition.

 

I had never problems with this tool since today. I created a backup on 03.08.2017 succesfull(system backup).

 

Today i tried to create a bootable DVD, because i need my backup and load my backup file from my external HDD( I have a virus on my PC). 

 

i use following config:

 

-WindowsPE 

 

- UEFI create a bootable medium.

 

- i click on ISO.

 

After this happened

The status say its loading 99% but nothing happend by the download speed. Sometimes say 6Kb/s and then 0 Kb/s......

 

i have a stable wifi connection.

 

What happened? How can i load the bootable iso?

Was unable to update Backupper Standard to v4.0.5, until removed previous installation with Revo Uninstaller Pro trial version. Tried several other uninstall programs first, but got Runtime Error messages including "floating point division by zero" and "SWbemObjectSet: Class not registered".

I am trying to resize the C drive of a Dell Precision workstation with the factory-installed Windows 10. The GUI lets me resize the C to what I want (shrinking from about 1 TB to 128 GB). However, when it starts in the pre-OS mode, it immediately fails with the error "information code: 49" It also says The version of system is equal to or higher than 1703. We suggest you don't move the system partition, which may cause system boot failure. 

The message is obviously bogus, for 1) I am not moving the system partition; I am resizing it and 2) why would it prompt me when it's in pre-OS mode and not in the GUI?

What is information code 49?

When I make a system back-up to another partion on a disk, will the existing data on that destination partion be whiped?
