I have been using AOMEI Backupper for a couple of years without any problems. Recently it has failed to verify backup images. Error 4104.
If I do the backup and verify as a continuous exercise the backup is not listed in the AOMEI program app although it can be found on the disk via windows explorer.
If I do the backup without a verify then it is available via the program app and the image can be fully explored and all looks OK. If I then 'Check Image' it fails with the same error message.
The log file is large but the section relating to the failure is shown below:

I regularly backup separately to two external Hard Disks; Seagate 3TB and a WD 2TB. The issue occurs on whichever disk is used.
I am using AOMEI 3.2. I reinstalled this and also tried reinstalling 3.1. This did not solve the problem.
I have run CHKDSK on the PC and the external drives and no errors are shown.
On the PC I also ran dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and sfc /scannow and all is OK.
I have also run the backup without compression in case this was the issue (only saves 10% of space) but this did not help either.
I have noticed, via the forums, that similar problems have happened to other users but no solution has been forthcoming.
I can run windows built in system image backup which appears to function correctly (although I have not attempted a restore from this).
The AOMEI Backupper is a terrific program and it would be most helpful if I could be assisted in getting this issue resolved
