Hello.

Windows 7 creates two partitions. One partiton is 100M whhile the othe is the remainder of the hard disk.

When I created a System Backup it copied both partitons. Now, I wish to restore both at the same time. The restore process only wants to let me restore the larger partition.

How do I restore BOTH at the same time?

Thanks!

Setting up separate files & folders backups

I am interested in backing up files and folders. At the moment I use GFI
Backup 2009 but support for this ceased quite a few years ago. With GFI
Backup 2009 I have a number of tasks set up, each of which covers
different groups of files and folders. For each task I have a different
backup schedule; once every day or so for frequently changing files but
only about once a week for rarely changinging files. Can I do the same with Backupper.

Authentic Tory Burch Handbags review

There is something fascinating, magnetic and beautiful about a girl carrying an authentic Tory Burch handbag. I am very confident to say that one of the desirable additions to any ladies wardrobe has got to be a Tory Burch purse. I have had customers tell me that their mother collected Tory Burch bags and they have continued the tradition. These ladies have said they feel confident carrying a Tory Burch bag from the seventies. You obviously cannot question the timelessness of some of these creations.

If you are have never owned a Tory Burch bag and are thinking of getting one, then you might be feeling a bit overwhelmed as to which Tory Burch design to get. Coupled with the fact that Tory Burch bags can be a bit on the expensive side, you have to be confident that your choice is one that will stand the test of time. Tory Burch Outlet OnlineAn authentic Tory Burch bag you can be proud to call your own.

Below are some of the Tory Burch designer bags I see customers coming for again and again. Some of them are very recent, while some are from another decade. Either way, they have that fabulous uniqueness that you know is Tory Burch.

Tory Burch Pelham Handbags

These Tory Burch bags are characterized by how large they are. I sometimes think customers who have never been to a Tory Burch boutique and simply see an image of a Tory Burch Pelham bag seriously underestimate how large they can be. I even had a customer return a Tory Burch Handbag 137621 Black Pelham Horsebit Bag as she was amazed at how large it was. Pelham handbags are characterized by double braided straps, tab snap closure, horsebits, studs, bottom feet, and inside zip pocket. They also come in medium and small sizes but compared to other designer handbags, its still larger than the average.

Partition Locked

Hello,

I tried to merge two partition on Toshiba Satellite L840 which contain 1TB capacity divided in HDD and SSD, in the middle of the process, the battery runs out and when I charged it, no progress is shown, it is just a black screen with nothing on it so I decided to power it off, once I boot, the Windows 8.1 won't boot so I install windows 7, after completing the installation, there are two choices of operating systems, "windows 7" and "windows", I choose "windows" because I think it will boot me to windows 8.1, but it says that I need to insert the windows 8.1 disk and run system repair then I do it, after I choose "repair your computer" on windows 8.1 installation disk, I choose "Refresh my computer" but then it says that the drive where windows 8.1 installed is locked, I've tried to install AOMEI partition assistant and diskmgmt.msc but it didn't show the actual capacity of the SSD, it only shows the capacity of the HDD, which is around 750 GB, I wonder how to recover the 250 GB that is likely to be the SSD where windows 8.1 installed.

Thanks.

Downloaded 2.5 Pro, installed over 2.2 and now an invalid license!

Well, I bought a fully functioning registered version of AOMEI 2.2 Pro on my home laptop.  I just got the 2.5 update email and downloaded it.  It requested that I uninstall the 2.2 so I did.  I then installed 2.5.  When attempting to register the product with the original ley I get an INVALID LICENSE CODE error.

So what's the fix?  I am really getting fed up with ths product and it's quirks and bugs.

Is there a "mirror" feature in AOMEI?

When restoring a file backup to it's original location where new files and folders have been added after the file backup was taken is there any way in AOMEI Backupper to make sure the folder after the restore process will reflect the contents in the backup 100% meaning the files and folders that were added after the backup and thus not found in the backup will be deleted at the time of the restore so you end up with a files and folders structure that looks exactly the same as in the backup?

OneKey Backup problem.

Hello,

I can't make a backup due to a driver problem (i think).

Here's what happens:

1. I connect a hdd via an external hard rive enclosure.

2. I open AOMEI OneKey.

3. I click "OneKey System Backup"

4. I select the "Backup system to other location" option and click next.

5. I click browse, go to the E:\ drive (this is the hdd location) and click open.

6. I click "Start Backup" and then when the pop up box which tells me the computer will be required to rebooted into Windows PE shows up i click Yes.

7. The laptop i'm making the recovery from restarts after OneKey is done preparing the machine.

8. Upon restart, after the windows logo i see the screen which is attached as the photo "Screen 1" and then when i press enter i see "Screen 2"

imageScreen1[1].jpg

imageScreen2[1].jpg

9. Pressing enter on the "windows Setup [EMS Enabled]" option takes me back to "Screen 1"

10. On "Screen 1" i can press esc to boot into normal startup.

I get this when i choose to create the backup on the C:\ drive as well so i don't think it's a problem with the external hdd.

Is there a fix for this?

Thanks for reading.

I lost my backup disk trying to perform a system restore

$

Just experienced something really weird and scary. I had a fyll system backup + a number of incremental system backups based on the full system backup and when I tried performing a system restore using the latest incremental backup I got an error message I've never seen before after my PC was rebooted and the restore process was to start saying there were programs running on my backup drive meaning the system restore could not start. I was asked if I wanted to close these programs so the restore could carry on. It also told me if I would have answered 'No' to this question the restore process would have restarted in some kind of 'Restart mode' if I remember correctly.

Anyway I chose 'Yes' to close any programs blocking the restore from carry on and I then got another error message saying the backup disk was corrupt in some way and it was suggested I should run a chkdsk on my backup disk. At this point I was really scared thinking about the situation I would be in if my PC failed to start after this unsuccessful restore and my backup disk in some way was corrupt...that would have been a true disaster!

Luckily when I closed AOMEI Backupper my PC was able to reboot normally but what I noticed was that my backup disk didn't even show up anymore inside Windows and looking under Disk Management in Windows my backup disk was now reported as 'Unallocated'.

Since I not only kept the AOMEI system image backup on my backup disk but also some other stuff do you have any idea what could have caused this and more importantly is there any way for me to revive my backup disk so I don't loose everything I had on it?

As I said I've never seen this before and I used your software without any issues for quite some time and been a very happy user so far. When I try to figure out any differences from in the past what I did differently this time was to use the incremental feature, before this I always deleted the old full backup and created a new full backup. Another thing is I upgraded AOMEI to the latest version (2.5) where I before this used 2.2 I believe it was.

Would really appreciate some input and hopefully a solution to how to revive my backup disk without loosing all data on it...

Many thanks in advance,

Richard

Scheduled Backup to DVD

I'm using the Trial version(2.5) of this software, as I might be interested in purchasing the server version (Server 2008 R2) if I am satisfied with the product and it's functionality.

There are some folders that I backup daily to DVD (I'm curently using ImgBurn via commandline) and when trying to setup AOMEI to do the same thing it says:

"The schedule task does not support to backup to CD/DVD"

Is this true?

Why would this not be allowed?

AOMIE PE Builder bootable media blue screen

Hello,

When I boot with AOMIE PE Builder 1.4 bootable media it finishes with a solid blank blue screen.  I am running Windows 8.1

I have created ISO, bootable CD and bootable thumbdive.  All three produce the same result.

The ISO I have booted with in VM Workstation under various machine settings along with the CD and thumbdrive and all produce the same blue screen.

Creating a simple windows PE bootable disk works fine but that is not what I want.  MiniTool bootable media also works fine but that is linux based and not as elegant.  Everthing needs to work before I purchase software.   Looking forward to your solution.

Cheers!

Convert Hyper-V machine from MBR - GPT

I have a Server 2012 Hyper-V server hosting 4 VMs.  I would like to convert the existing MBR partitions to GPT.  Unfortunatly I don't presently have any place to completely backup the VMs.  Will the AOMEI Partition Assistant Lite Edition 5.6.3 convert the partitions without causing problems with my Virtual machines?

Thanks,

AOMEI PE Builder Live Issue

AOMEI PE Builder 1.4, HP-15 laptop with UEFI/Win 8.1

1.) No errors encountered when creating a USB boot stick. However, whether or not I add drivers and portable apps, when booting the USB build I encounter an Explorer.exe "Unknown Hard Error."

2.) After adding inf drivers to USB build for internal sound card and wireless adapter, neither of those features work.

3.) All added portable apps launch without issue. However, PENetwork app launches with "An error occurred while starting the TCP/IP Registry Compatibility service (2)."

Could someone provide advice on fixing or explaining the issues? Thanks.

cannot boot from restored disk

Hi

I'm trying to test recovery of a disk backup for a UEFI PC running windows 7 with GPT system disk using an external USB hard disk. The external drive is already setup as a GPT disk and has the same signature as the system disk (result of previous failed system backup attempts). I created a disk backup of the system disk with AOEMI backupper v.2.5, created a Windows PE bootable AOEMI DVD, disconnected the system disk (to avoid signature clashes), booted up with the DVD, and restored the backup to the external USB hard disk. All this seemed to work OK. However the external drive does not seem to be bootable, and (with the system disk still disconnected) there is no windows boot manager shown in the UEFI firmware. (The external drive itself is visible).

Am I doing something wrong? My understanding is that AOMEI should be able to recover a UEFI system in this way.

Thanks, John.
