Restore not accessible...?

Hi,
I get a big issue on my AOMEI backupper tonight...!
I can access backups anymore cause i get this message:

Still, my drives are connected and visible on explorer...

Error 104: Total clusters too large & exceed the file system allowed capacity.

Hello,

when trying to convert my M.2 Samsung 960 Pro (512GB) from MBR to GPT I get the error message "Error 104: Total clusters too large & exceed the file system allowed capacity." The disk contains only one partition. I use Windows 10.


I have no clue what this error means? Can anybody help?

I'm unable to disable secure boot on an Alienware laptop in order to do a restore. Is there any other way to do one?

Hi, i was looking for a descent backup utility, and Aomei looked a quite powerfull, usefull and friendly user interface program, however i run into 1 problem, if i try the free version ( standard edition 2.0.2 ) it suddenly asks for registration ( buy the Pro version ) , i get the "Trial expiration notice" , and i cant recover or backup aymore ( within Windows that is ) , i tried it on several systems, new installations, all the same...

Any1 else have this problem? ( bug??) , on the homepage it says clearly "freeware" , not TRIAL, and even after using/testing 3 recovery's i already get the msg.
I emailed the helpdesk and they are friendly and all, but quite slowly, i need to make a decision soon to choose a new backup program ( im an Acronis user for years now ) , and im postponing backups atm already, so i post here on the forum to find a quick solution.

I have attempted to retrieve a data file from a backup image saved on a USB drive. The backup image was from a now non-existent computer. I used AOEMI 'Explore Image' and the backup image loaded into a virtual partition (H:). The file required is located in a 'Users\username\Documents' folder, however I am unable to access the folder because Windows says I don't have permission. Can anyone suggest how to change the permissions or more simply extract the required file. PS the image is a system backup of the C drive of the old computer.

Clone disk did not copy Operating (boot) system files win 7 - will not boot up

I have exact duplicate of lap top hard drive, chose clone disk, it took hours to finish, when done I switched out Hard drives,
and it could not find operating system, when I switched back and ran windows, I check disk management and found it did not copy over the system and boot files, every thing else was copied.  How do I get an exact clone?

Hallo,
ich erhalte seit einiger Zeit diese Fehlermeldung:
"Informationscode:33

Fehler beim Lesen eines Festplattensektors (defekter Sektor)". Ein Festplattencheck liefert keinen Fehler. Es handelt sich bei der Festplatte um eine Samsung SSD 840. Wer kann helfen?

How to put computer to sleep after scheduled backup?

I run a scheduled backup every night using windows scheduler. Is there a way to put the computer to sleep after the backup is complete? I know there is a way to place the computer in sleep mode when a backup is initiated manually but I haven't seen an option to do so when the backup is initiated through the scheduler.

Partition Assistant Pro - Clone copies but no boot up

I was trying to clone my hard disk 1tb to 500 ssd the source disk is only about 200 gigs of data
windows 10 GPT .
Clone copies ok, data is on the new ssd, it will just not boot, I get a blue screen wanting me to go to recovery mode.

I've tried 3x now and no luck

If I install the free or paid version of Backupper and enter a valid license key, do I get the same functionality or are there differences I haven't noticed?

Boot disk did not detect Intel SSD Optane

After review many suggestions to create boot disk with Intel drives. I did create boot disk with several Intel drivers ( from Intel site and DIM++).  No issues with boot BUT still not detect Intel SSD + Optane.
I have no problems with other HD on other Laptops. But not my new laptop with Intel SSD + Optane.
I did try to use aomei Windows PE Build Environment and still no luck.
However, If I use Windows boot usb and Intel drive usb and it detected Intel SSD + Optane for clean win install.
Any one can help . Other than that my aomei back up are useless. Thank you.

Disk Clone asking for .5 terabytes more than the disk

I am cloning a 1 TB hard drive to a 1 TB nvme SSD.  However, when I select the new drive it says it's too small and needs 1.51 TB.  

Cloning to a drive with bad sectors

I am trying to clone my HDD to a new SSD using AOMEI PA, however every time I do I get an error 34 indicating bad sectors on the destination drive. I have scanned the drive with the same program and indeed it detects bad sectors, so I tried to use the "Check partition amd fix errors by using chkdsk.exe" function. After that the next scan (not fast one) didn't show any damaged sectors, but trying to clone the drive again still turned up the exact same error 34. Can I somehow still get the Partition Assistant to clone the drive to the damaged one, or is there some other method I could achieve this?

Backupper PE pro does not recognize flash card

I have all my backups on a 256G flash card connected via a card reader to an usb 3 slot to my Huawei Matebook X Pro 2019.
Backups are running ok on the card.
Trying to restore any backup from the card under WIN PE, results in not finding the backups.
When browsing for the backup the flash card is not detected.
This problem was also seen in very much older versions and disappeared again in the late 5.x versions. Now we have it again!
The used PE medium was fixed with the internal PE builder as well as the external program.
This makes the whole program worthless.

Partition Assistant Professional running chkdsk

Backupper will not clone my Windows 10 system disk to an SSD, and returns a non-informative error message. When I run chkdsk via Partition Assistant it returns error messages relating to mostly NTFS $130 entries. However when I run chkdsk via CMD, Powershell or from a Windows DVD it says there are no problems with the disk or the file system.
Microsoft techies and AOMEI support don't have any answers and I'm stumped! 

System backup cancelled with error code 23; unable to find any reference to this error code

Has anybody ever seen error code 23 before? I have a scheduled system backup (C drive and recovery partition) on a Windows 10 pc that is sent to an external HD, which had a space issue (error code 4138) the previous week, and that I have resolved since. The log has reported the backup was cancelled with error code 23. I've found no reference in any of the available manuals or online docs. There is plenty of room on the drive. A file history has backed up there without issue. I'll also be sending an email to AOMEI Support and will report results here, though can't imagine there's a big demand since I'm the first to post about it.
