I tried to adjust the size of my disk partition and now it's stuck in PreOS mode. I've seen some advice to delete a file called ampa.exe but I can't get to a window or C:\ propmt that will let me do that. I can't boot into safe mode. What next?

email notification
When I try to set up email notification on my gmail account it requires me to enable "less secure app" sign in. Not thrilled with that so I tried the AOMEI Server option. After clicking test I get a running progress bar for about 1 minute then a "failure" message?

Bug: Disk Backupper Freezes the System
Hi,
my system freezes completely while trying to make disc image backups from my system drive (full backup).
I use Windows 10 x64 on a lenovo ThinkPad T540p, and a Samsung SSD with basic disc layout.
The Problem is independent of using VSS or AOMEIs own alternative.
Backupper writes around 25 MB to the external (USB3) hard drive, and according to Windows Resource Monitor it reads a lot of data with maximum speed from system-ssd, but don't write anything to the target drive. After some minutes Backuper stops reading from source-ssd. The system drive is somehow completely locked for any writes, but system tasks reads data from the disc. Because of the ongoing write lock the system freezes and i need to make a hard reset. I am somehow perplexed.
Thank you for any help.

ambakdrv.sys
I backed up my system using AOMEI Backup and restored it to a new disk. Now when I try to boot the system hangs when trying to load ambakdrv.sys file
Clone HDD will not boot
I am trying to use AOEMI Backupper to create a bootable hard drive by cloning a bootable hard drive. I have an internal 40 GB IDE HDD that I want to clone to another internal 40 GB IDE HDD so that the second drive is bootable (like the first drive is). I have the source and target hard drives connected via external enclosures to a PC running Windows 7 and Backupper Standard 4.0.6. (This is not the PC where the source HDD is normally installed. I am only using this other PC in order to perform the clone operation.) In Backupper I have used the Disk Clone function in the Clone tab.
Backupper completes the clone operation successfully. The target drive mounts in Windows and I can see all the files that were cloned from the source drive. However, when I install the target drive in the original PC, that PC will not boot. On screen I see a message that says "Insert a system disk and press any key" (or something like that).
On my first clone attempt, I did not choose the Sector by Sector option in the Disk Clone. I made a second clone attempt and I did choose the Sector by Sector option. Backupper also completed my second clone attempt successfully. Unfortunately, the second clone attempt would not boot the original PC either.
What am I missing? Thanks in advance.
Log text files show negative lines of text
I have just installed AOMEI Backupper Free and straight away I checked the log files (in location “C:\Program Files(x86)\AOMEIBackupper\log” folder) and these files show a lot of negative sounding lines of text in them even before I have created a system backup. I attach three of the log files that are in readable text format. There is one other log file Reg.log that is not readable so I have not attached that one. Does this mean that any backups I create will not work when it comes to restoringfrom them or are these normal?

Windows To Go USB Drive will not boot
Hi, I have just purchased and installed Partition Assistance. I have used it to create a Windows To Go USB Drive. Everything works fine and I can see the file etc on the drive however it will not boot. I have tried two different ISOs (Windows 10 Pro & Enterprise) and two computers. One is a Surface Book 2 and the other is a Surface Pro 4. I am running Windows 10 Pro on both Surface tablets. The USB Drive is a SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 256GB. I have noticed that the wizard has created a single 256GB NTFS partition. I have a working Windows To Go USB External Drive (created directly by Windows) which has a small (350MB) FAT32 partition as well as the larger (1TB) system drive. The reason for move to the USB Drive is it is less bulky to carry however I dont want to have to use a certified USB Drive as they are expense. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
How long should it take to image 275 GB of data
My backup image took 1 hr and 10 min to create and 2 additional hours to verify. Is this normal? Thanks for your help

AOMEI Backupper Standard Failed to enable the backup service.
When the backup is started, the program writes: - "AOMEI Backupper Standard Failed to enable the backup service, please try again or reinstall the software and try again." Reinstalling on helps. What to do, please help.
Trouble updating Aomei Backupper Standard to v4.0.5.
Was unable to update Backupper Standard to v4.0.5, until removed previous installation with Revo Uninstaller Pro trial version. Tried several other uninstall programs first, but got Runtime Error messages including "floating point division by zero" and "SWbemObjectSet: Class not registered".

Backupper restore added partitions!?
Backupper restore worked but it apparently ADDED new partitions, so I now have to select the boot device every time I open my laptop lid... I can't add a photo with this discussion tool but I have sk 0 with partitiosn 1, 3, 5 nd 6. Two are EFI System Partitions (one is 100MB and the other is 499MB), Two are "Recovery Partitions" (One is 862MB and the other is 1.76GB) and there is also Volume OS (C:) as an NTFS volue of 465GB.
Is this fixable without doing more harm?
