I purchased this program with hopes it would be getting better. From reading this forum and see no answers to users questions from the owners of this program I don't see this program going anywhere. When the owners do answer and say it will be fixed there is never a update to the program. It's like take your money and run.
The PE (using Win 7 Pro 64) boots through Loading Windows and the Windos flag, and then BSOD's with this message:
C0000145 {Application Error}
The Application was unable to start correctly. (0xc000000d) Click OK to close the application.
Any suggestions? (I tried the ones in the FAQ, but no joy).
Tried on 3 PCs to mak a bootable CD. At the end of writing de menü stopps at 99%. The Disk is not bootable.
OS ist WIN10 - AOMEI Version 3.2 in german. Any ideas?

hi can someone please give me a step by step idea on how to image a hard drive with windows 8.1 onto a parition on the same drive, but make that partition hidden. i have access to backrupper free as well as the partition free from aomei. also, any info on whats needed for recovery is greatly appreciated. thanks!
I tried the Disk Clone to copy all of my data to a new larger drive. The original HD had 3 partitions and the clone seems to work fine on the system part, but the next section errors out to Code 33 after about an hour:
"Clone is initializing...
Checking volumes...
Partition cloning...
Copying data...
Information Code:33
Failed to read sector (with bad sector)."
I ran CHKDSK twice on all 3 partitions and they all come back as good. I ran it twice to be sure, same result. I defragged the drive just for fun and that worked fine as well. Back to Disk Clone this morning and same error.
Help!!

I wanted to get rid of the recovery partition on my Laptops hard disk, so I deleted the partition and then attempted to merge the unallocated space with my main partition using AOMEI Partition Assistant. It meant that the unallocated space at the beginning of the disk was first moved to the end (after the main partition), and then the main partition would be resized to include the unallocated space after it.
After running AOMEI Partition Assistant everything looked fine at first, all my data was still there, I could boot without issues and the main partition was enlarged successfully. However, after a few hours problems started to appear and I noticed a number of system files got corrupted. I could recover most of them with sfc /scannow and dism /restorehealth but later I noticed that even new files I create seem to get corrupted with the data of other newly written files. E.g. I downloaded a graphics driver package and could install it without issues. One hour later this exact file became corrupted without me touching it in any way. Parts of it were overwritten with data that belonged to a completely different file that was created later. The corrupted parts are always whole 4k sectors (I checked with a hex editor). It's as if Windows wrote new files at locations even though there is already data there.
I let chkdsk run but I don't think it found any errors. Does anybody have an idea what went wrong here and if there is any way to repair the filesystem without reformatting? Don't have any logs of AOMEI as I uninstalled it after everything looked fine at first.

I'm currently deciding to switch to aomei backup from ATIH and to completely replace the use pattern I have with the latter I need to be able to do the following:
I want to have the scheduled complete backup every, say, 2 months, with incremental/differential (does not matter atm) backups twice a week.
I downloaded a free version just to try if I can implement it and I don't see a way to configure it to behave like that.
Is there a way to deploy such a schema with AOMEI backup tool?

Hi! I have an Aomei OneKey Recovery partition setup on my computer for my Win 7 installation. I installed linux mint onto the system as a dual boot configuration. Now when I boot my system I get the grub menu but before that I do not get the prompt to restore the system using Aomei OneKey Recovery.
Is there a way the repair the OneKey Recovery boot entry?

I have been having problems for some time now trying to use Backupper Pro with a couple of Windows 10 machines.
I continually have issues where my backups over my LAN fail, even though there is plenty of space on the remote drive and all permissions are correct.
I get a message "not enough disk space" and on exit a 4138 error is reported.
I have today experimented with replacing my Windows 10 backup server with a Linux server. I get exactly the same results!!!
I have tried mapping the network drive to a drive letter (Z:), but under Windows 10, Backupper does not allow me to select drive Z: as the backup destination (or at least I do not know how to do this).
I ran a test earlier and have recorded the general results in the attached screen captures.
The interesting thing in the screen captures is that the Linux server is still reporting plenty of free space on the backup drive (455 GB) and yet the backup failed. At the time of failure it is still possible to read and right to the backup drive over the network. Also note that at the time of failure the size of the image file being written is actually larger than the normal image files that the system writes on a successfull backup (4194304 KB vs 4186116 KB).
I can successfully backup from the PC when I directly connect the backup drive via a USB cable.

I work as a support technician for different companies. Can I use an AB Technician license to install the backup software in all my clients computers?. If not, I dont't fully understand the concept of technical support if software is not included.. Could you please elaborate this a bit for me?.
If I cannot install the software using my license in all my clients computers... should I buy this AB license and also as many server/PC licenses of the software for each of my clients?. In this case, I have tried to apply for the Reseller program, but have not received an ACK of the sent mail... Any hints on how much does it take for the request to be processed?.

Did the free windows 10 upgrade to a hhd that was running windows 8.1. Ran fine. I then decided that the bootup was too slow(have win7 on a ssd). Decided to move the windows 10 to an sshhd as my second. Have copied the partition, cloned the partion to the sshhd drive.
However, when the system boots up, I get an error message that says:
"PC/Device needs to be repaired.
A required device can't be accessed.
error code:0x000000e
Need to use recovery tools.
1.Press enter to try again
2. Press F8 for startup settings
3. Press F9 to use a different operating system"
With items 1 & 2, nothing happens
Item 3(f9 to use different o/s) boots the system to my windows 7 partion(ssd)
Once in win7, using aomei PA pro or DDM pro, I can see the drive with the copied/cloned wind10. I can resize it, re-partion it, run chkdsk, etc. I just can not boot up with it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello everyone. Is the backupper application capable of running if a user has no administrator privileges in windows 7 pro 64-bit? The scenario is as below:
A User with user account access on his workstation wants to backup files to a remote storage server via lan network. He has permissions on the remote server folder. There his password ends in around 3 months time and he has to change it.
The default windows backup programm needs you to be only admin in order to do and changes on the scheduled backups. For example after the 3 months time you can't change your credentials through it because you are not an admin on the workstation. Is the backupper application capable on leaving non admin users to change other details or their schedule on demand?
I tried the trial version and it told me that you need to be an admin in order to run it. Is there a way to set properties depending on user access? With my admin profile I saw it works fluently.
I wait any feedback with interest.

I've encountered an odd problem. I made an image using System Backup (under AOMEI Backupper Pro 3.1), and since this is my first time attempting to use this software, I decided to use Universal Restore to restore the system to another machine first (a laptop). I read all the online support docs, made a WinPE boot disc using the option under Utilities, wiped and re-partitioned the destination drive, attached the ancillary drive holding the image to the laptop via USB, got together all the drivers that will be needed for the new hardware into a folder, and then booted up with the boot cd.
It booted up fine, and automatically opened AOMEI Backupper, as expected. I then chose Restore/Universal Restore and browsed to the system image. Immediately I received an error saying the image wasn't valid, was damaged, or that I was using an incompatible version of the software. The disc was created using the same (3.1) software that created the image, so that didn't make sense to me. I then went back to the original machine and ran a check on the image. Took awhile, but in the end AB said it was good.
At this point I'm stumped. I recall there being an alternate method of creating a boot disc, so wonder if the problem may lie in that area, but don't have enough experience with this software to make any sort of logical deduction. Beyond that possibility, though, no ideas spring to mind.
I'd appreciate any advice on how to proceed.
Note: Not that it has any bearing on the above problem, but for clarity's sake, beyond installing the system to the laptop, the ultimate goal is to correct a mistake I made on the original system. I made the ever-growing blunder of using MBR on a primary (C:\) 4TB drive, and now need to switch to GPT. Naturally, I didn't realize my mistake until long after the system was fully set-up and tons of software registered that can't all be re-installed. Thus my desire to use Universal Restore on the original PC so I can "save" the installation while being able to finally utilize the entire drive. If I can successfully restore the system to the laptop, I'll be confident enough to repeat the process on the primary machine.
Hello everybody. I am a new member and firstly, I would like to say thank you for the great software that you make, it is very good and it's helped me in the past a lot. I was wondering if I could please get some help with an issue I have.
I downloaded Onekey Recovery and once the program started up I followed the instructions. It completed the first part of the process and I git a message to say that the operation had completed successfully with no errors. When the PC started in PE mode to continue, I got an error message to say that it 'failed to create image' then told me to try again. I pressed start backup again (while in PE mode) but got another failed to install image error and it advised to restart PC and try again.
I started Windows normally, looked in disk management and see that AOMEI had created a 56Gb partition on my C:/ drive. I tried to run the program again from desktop, and I get an error telling me that I need to restart my computer and try again. So next, I used AOMEI partition assistant to merge the new unallocated space on my C:/drive which it did with no problem.
Again, I ran Onekey recovery from desktop and install was successful with no errors. Once it restarted again in PE mode to finish installation, I got the same 'failed to create image' error again.
Once I went back to my desktop, I checked disk management and again AOMEI created a 56 Gb unallocated partition.
My computer is Windows 10 Professional 32bit with all the latest updates and patches.
Does anybody have any ideas?
