Standard Partition assistant - cannot select partitons to recover - check box not usable
Hello, i 'm trying this software for the first time and wanted to recover a hard drive for a friend.
The software (free) detected 12 partitions on the disk but i cannot select the ones to recover, i can only view the content.
the check box in front of each one is not active.
Should i buy the software to unlock the feature ? or is it a bug ?

Clone disk creates all Primary partitions
I download the free trial version to try out. My goal is to clone a 1TB HDD with one visible partition C: drive, about 500GB, from a laptop to a 500GB SSD. I selected Clone Disk, but the app says there are too many partions, and it will only clone the first 3, and user can manually do clone the rest. I proceed. The AOMEI software completed the process and assigns all copied partion to 'Primary' and also assigns a drive letter to each. In fact the first 3 partitions should be 'Recovery', 'OEM', and 'EFI System', and should not have a drive letter.
Do I miss any step or setting?

Encryption option is not saved
I create a full backup with encryption. Later I delete the backup file and run the backup again, but now the encryption option is gone. The only method I have found so far is to delete and recreate the backup definition. Or am I missing something?

Unable to get back up information
Hi, I backed up my folders and files to a external hd and formated my PC. After formatting my PC I then tried to restore my folders and files but I get a message saying that it is unable to get the backup information. The external drive is working and I can see the back up file.
I need to restore my folders, can anyone help ?

Reallocation from C to another partition failed, now can't boot up
Last night I asked Partition Assistant to remove 200 gigs from my C drive and move it to my "B" drive. Perhaps I should have done this in two steps... but the program began the action, and said it would take 7 hours. I left the computer alone and went to bed.
In the morning, I found the computer asleep. I woke it up but got a blank screen. I eventually powered it off. Upon restart, it went to the regular windows boot, and hung. I powered it off again. During the third restart, I hit f8 and went to the boot menu. My options are two UEFI boot sources (IPV4 and IPV6, both referred to as "unknown devices"), and the Legacy boot sources, which show nothing.
Can anyone help me figure out if I can fix my problem?
Should I choose the System Restore option? With the windows boot not working, I can't even get to safe mode.
I would like to avoid wiping clean the drive and reinstalling. My system is running Windows 8, and all my info is backed up on an external hard drive. I just need to correct what I messed up. :-/

Data lost. Need urgent help
I wanted to extend my C drive. I had 5 GB of free space in my Hard drive.
Using the lite version I dragged the cursor to extend the drive. In step 1 it showed something like wiping data, nd in the second stage it showed some error like unable to copy or something like that. Now after restarting the PC, I have my D, E, and F drives wiped out. Can I recover the data? Its life for me.

Server Appears stuck at 96% in AOMEI Partition Assistant PreOS Mode
I have 2 drives in a server that are hardware raided to RAID 1. I have the RAID1 drive configured as two volumes. A C: volume for the OS and an E: volume for Data. I needed to shrink the E: drive in order to give some more space to the C: drive. The software was complaining that it couldn't lock the volume so I allowed it to reboot into the PreOS mode to complete the operations. It has been sitting in PreOS mode for several hours and has stopped at 96% saying "System Updating, please wait..." I can't tell if the server is hung or what. Is there any way to know what might be going on at this point? If I have to hard reset the server, would it possibly pick up and continue at the point it is at?

AOMEI Partition Assistance
Hello and sorry for this question before to buy the pro version, but at the first usage of AOMEI PA I am in great trouble.
I was trying to migrate the OS from one SSD to a bigger SSD. I don't know if I would have to do a copy disk before to migrate, but I have not done it and started directly by the OS migration command. I followed the wizard that has previewed the disk space, then I have applied the pendent activity and AOMEI has rebooted the system with a code error 12 with desription: disk environment has changed and not consistent. Please reboot and again run the software to retry...press any key to restart. The problem is that the keys are frozen, i.e. the kb is not responding so I have to turn off the PC. Now I have the PC booting aòways with the AOMEI error.
If, how I think, AOMEI has modified the os sisk mbr, what can I do to restart?
Any try to go in safe mode has failed.

Installation dead end - Help
Can you help me with the installation procedure for OneKey Recovery?
1) I downloaded the installer and created the partition environment on my external 2Tb drive G: . The folder is G:\AOMEI OneKey Recovery 1.2.
2) When I tried to make the system ISO copy, the prompts informed me I didn't have the AIK system installed. I followed directions to download this and MagicISO, and installed the latter.
3) I used MagicISO to install AIK and wound up with the following new directories installed on G: Drive:
WinPE_LangPacks
HotFix
Docs
en-us
4) There was no popup window offering a StartCD.exe.
In the \en-us folder there is a file named StartCD.exe.mui. However, this is not an executable file, given the .mui file extension.
5) When I execute OneKeyRecovery, it again informs me that I do not have the required AIK system installation.
So...Now I have all these files on Drive G: and can't do anything!
What to do?

PXE Boot issue
Hi guys,
I've configured the PXE boot tool on a server but unable to send the iso to the workstation. It worked randomly once yesterday but every other attempt appears to fail.
On the server running the PXE boot tool I can see the *Boot request has already been responded* message, but then it doesn't send the iso successfully. From the error log it looks as though maybe the port or something is blocked, or network communication is having issues.
I have attached the pxe log file from the server.
Any help would be appreciated.

Missing email via Notification Service at the end of a task

I'm testing AOMEI Backupper 2.5 Professional, because I want to change my backup software from ACRONIS True Image 2014 (too many errors :-() to your product. Overall it works fine!
In the global setting I activate the email notification service using the smtp server of my own email hoster. Test emails will be send correctly. After that, I've scheduled two tasks for automatical backup in the night.
The first task should start at 01:00am (duration 5-10 minutes, hole disk with the OS, full backup) and the second one should start at 02:00am (duration more than 30minutes, hole second disk with user data, full backup). Checking the logs both tasks terminates correctly. Checking the setup of the tasks, in both the checkbox "send email notice" is set/enabled.

after migration the i can not boot from the new drive
Hey,
I had migrated my old ssd 60 G drive to a new ssd 120 G driver,
and all seems to work fine. But i cannot boot from the new drive, (both drives
are mbr of course)
I have tried switching the cable, but i got an operating system is
corrupt or missing. I tried windows repair but there was no change, also
tried rebuild mbr option of your SW on the new drive, but no change. Thanks for any help

When rebooting into backeruppper 2.5 I cannot see my 1TB USB drive when using the "Path" command.
When rebooting (USB or DVD boot disc) into backeruppper 2.5, I cannot see my 1TB USB drive when using the "Path" command. I see drive "C" and a ficticious drive "E" but no USB drive. Any ideas?
