Just managed to download the new setup file via this link (used to be the link for v3.5; v3.5 had 79 MB, v4.0 has 82,7 MB)
Just not sure if I want to be the first one to try it on my system, though

Probably qiute a simple question on backup schemes, but I really struggle to understand the documentation. I want to use a Differential backup scheme, where I run a Full Backup every week and a Differential every day and retain a rolling two week history. So what I want to end up with is this;
After week 1
F1 d01 d02 d03 d04 d05 d06
After week 2
F1 d01 d02 d03 d04 d05 d06 F2 d07 d08 d09 d10 d11 d12
After week 3
F2 d07 d08 d09 d10 d11 d12 F3 d13 d14 d15 d16 d17 d18
After week 4
F3 d13 d14 d15 d16 d17 d18 F4 d19 d20 d21 d22 d23 d34
etc.
How do I accomplish this?
I have a VM running windows server 2012 with a MBR disk and I need to convert it GPT disk. The disk has my OS and all of my data on it. I have done a backup of the disk just in case something goes wrong. If I convert it on the fly, I am meaning doing it now, will it affect anything like to OS when I do a reboot of my server?
Hello there,i tried to change the letter on some
partitions and Aomei partition assistant said it would have to apply the
changes during reboot.I accepted and now the pc is stuck on the black
screen that says ''aomei partition assistant preOS mode. The program is
executing,please wait''
It sat there for about an hour
without any activity happening.I manually rebooted since ctrl+alt+del
did not reboot the machine and the same happened again.Just sitting
there in the black screen without going into the dos program to apply
the changes.
Please help since now there is no way to boot my system,it just goes to the black screen every time.
The operations i tried to do were changing partition name and partition letter for 4 partitions.
So im trying to test out the image deply in my hyper V environment but i cant seem to get it to work. AOMEI PXE is stuck on Respond to Boot Request Status so the VM is never registered as online like shown in the tutorial here:https://www.backup-utility.com/features/image-deployment.html
I cant seem to attach any images to this as well. Hope someone can help me out thanks!
I'm using your Standard version Backupper on a Win7 system.
I created a system image backup and verified it but when I attempt to boot into my system using the Windows PE file, I get the following message "Unable to get the backup information because the image file does not exist, or can not be accessed, or has been damaged."
Yet the image file does exist on my external hard drive?
I have installed Backupper Standard 4.0.6 and attempted to create a rescue disk. I first built a Windows PE version which booted into the standard Windows 10 layout but I cannot see how I use this disk to get into my Backupper images etc.
I then built a Linux disk but that fails to boot at all. I built it as an iso and burnt it with Imgburn.
So at the moment I am without a useable rescue disc!
Thanks for any help.
As others have noted when trying to explore an image on a new machine I continue to get the error message that I do not have access to the files. The original backup was successful; however, there seems to be no way to explore the image on the new laptop.
So i currently have a 500GB HDD with win10 on it and other programmes and games etc which is all using about 400GB of space. I have my new 120GB SSD but i only want to move/clone my OS to the new SSD. is it worth resetting my PC and having a fresh win10 Then clone it to SSD?
Hi
I am using Backupper v2.2 and Windows 8.1 and tried to use the Explore Image feature. The feature mounted 2 drives (E:/ and F:/) to explore the images. These didn't work (when you click on them it says Device not ready).
Also I can't remove them now from Windows Explorer.
I can see them in Explorer. http://i.imgur.com/yDjmKir.png
but I can't see them in Disk Management to remove them.
Also your instructions say you can go back to Explore Image in Backupper and it will give the option to dismount the drives however it doesn't give this option, instead it offers to mount the images to drives G: and H:.
How can I dismount these drives?

I have space mgt set with full backups, but it does not delete the old backup and I keep running out of space on drive

Hello, I have a partially damaged hdd. It starts regularly and works for some minutes then it slows and finally hangs.
Some sectors are damaged.
I've not been able to clone it directly, so I have disconnected HDD from original PC and connected to a working PC, performed a checkdsk, then connected a third new HDD.
After all this I performed cloning from disk2 to disk3.
Everything worked fine and all partitions have been cloned, but new disk does not boot.
The error is:
Your PC/device needs to be repaired
A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed
eror code: 0xc000000e
Thanks
I'm working under Windows 10, using Aomei Partition assistant pro 6.6
Hello, I backed up my C drive because I needed to Reset My Computer to Factory Default. The backup went well and I am able to browse and access almost all files except one folder where all my documents are. Here is what happens when I try to access:
1. I get this message:
"You don't currently have permission to access this folder.
Click Continue to permanenly get access to this folder
2. I click on Continue.
3. Then I get this message:
"You have been denied permission to access this folder."
To gain access to this folderyou will need to use the security tab.
4. I have given myself Full Access from the security tab to everything that I can think of including of course the folder
I need but cannot acces because obviously its an image and permission cannot be overwritten.
Any help is appreciated.
